For years, a lot of Singapore contractors, aircon companies and clinics bought their website through a PSG-supported package. The vendor quoted S$3,000 to S$6,000, the grant covered a large share, and the business paid the rest. That route has now closed for new applications. If you were planning a new website or a redesign, this article explains what changed and what your options are now.
The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), together with EDG and MRA, stopped accepting new applications on 29 September 2026. The EDGE Grant opened on 30 September 2026 and replaces all three for new applications (Olano summary, Grants.sg EDGE overview). Applications submitted before the cut-off continue under the old scheme and claim on completion.
The important part for small businesses: EDGE funds specific pre-approved activities. A simple brochure website for a service business is not one of them on its own, so you should assume a new standalone website will be paid in full by you. If a vendor still says their website package is "PSG-eligible", check the date on that page and ask them to confirm in writing which current scheme they mean.
Singapore agencies that publish their prices put a professional small business website in these ranges:
In other words, the "S$2,500 net after grant" price that many owners got used to is now S$4,000 or more at the same agencies. That is a real jump for a sole proprietor or a five-person renovation team.
Builders such as Wix or Squarespace cost a monthly subscription and nothing up front. They work if you have the time to write the pages, choose photos and keep it updated. The hidden cost is your own hours, and many DIY sites stall halfway because the owner is on site all day.
Freelancers can be cheaper than agencies. The risk is what happens after launch: who hosts it, who fixes it when something breaks, and what happens if the freelancer moves on. Get hosting, domain ownership and support written into the agreement.
If your current website is less than three or four years old and loads quickly on a phone, a redesign may not be necessary. Updating the service pages, adding a WhatsApp button and refreshing project photos can do more for enquiries than a new design.
This is the gap the grant left. A business that needs a proper multi-page site with service pages, a gallery and a quote form, but cannot justify S$4,000 or more, can choose a package where the build is a single payment and hosting is included for the first year.
Our Singapore prices are on the Singapore page: S$499 for Basic (up to 6 pages), S$999 for Pro (15 pages built by us) and S$1,999 for Business (30 pages built), as a one-time payment. We do not charge GST. Hosting, SSL, backups and the domain are included for the first year, and most Singapore sites are live within a day of us receiving your content.
From year two you renew the platform (S$259, S$389 or S$649 a year) or stay on a Care plan from S$119 a month, which includes hosting and the domain plus monthly changes by our team. There are no plugins to update and no second company to chase when something needs fixing; you message one team on WhatsApp.
If you are a contractor, our renovation contractor website page shows what is included for that trade, and the pricing page compares every package.
Not for new applications. PSG stopped accepting new applications on 29 September 2026. Projects already submitted continue under the old rules.
EDGE funds specific pre-approved activities. A standalone brochure website is not listed as one on its own, so plan your budget as if you will pay the full price, and confirm any claim of eligibility directly with the scheme.
It depends on the vendor's registration. Local GST-registered agencies add 9%. We do not charge GST on our Singapore prices.
Ask every vendor this before you sign. With us, the site never disappears just because Care ended: it stays online as long as either the yearly platform renewal or a Care plan is active.
If the grant was the reason you postponed your website, you can start a free 7-day trial today, or message us on WhatsApp with your business type and we will tell you which package fits and what it costs in total.
