When someone in Riyadh searches "شركة نقل عفش" or "AC maintenance Riyadh", Google usually shows a map with three businesses before any normal website results. Those three businesses get most of the calls. Getting into that map, and turning the click into a call or WhatsApp message, depends on two things working together: your Google Business Profile and your website.
Google handles the large majority of web searches in Saudi Arabia; StatCounter's figures put its share well above 90% (StatCounter, Saudi Arabia). For a local service business, that means your Google presence is effectively your shop front for new customers who do not already know your name.
Google explains that local results are based mainly on three factors (Google Business Profile help):
You cannot change distance, but relevance and prominence are mostly in your hands. Your website feeds both.
The profile should be created and verified by the business owner, or by someone you authorise and give access to. Verification usually needs access to the business phone, address or a short video of your premises or vehicle. Google's own verification guide explains the options. Keep the owner login in your company's hands, even if someone else helps you.
Once verified, fill in every field:
Google compares what your profile says with what it finds on your website. The more clearly they match, the more confident it can be about showing you. Your website should have:
Exactly the same as on the profile, in the footer of every page. Small differences, such as an old number on the contact page, weaken the signal.
A mover should have separate pages for house moving, office moving, furniture assembly and storage. An AC company should have pages for split AC maintenance, central AC, installation and duct cleaning. Each page tells Google you are relevant for that search.
Most consumer searches in Saudi Arabia are in Arabic. Your main service pages should exist in Arabic, written for how people actually search ("صيانة مكيفات", "نقل عفش", "شركة تنظيف"), not translated word by word from English.
List the districts and cities you actually work in. If you serve Riyadh and Al Kharj, say so on the page, not only on the profile.
Most people tap through from the map on a phone. If the page is slow or the call button is hard to find, they go back and try the next business.
Reviews are part of prominence, and they are the first thing many customers read. Ask every satisfied customer for a review, make it easy with a direct link, and reply to every review, good or bad, in the language it was written in. Never buy reviews or offer discounts in exchange for them; Google's policies forbid it.
After Google, list your business with the same details on Saudi directories such as Daleeli and Saudi Yellow Pages, and register with Maroof if you sell online. For movers and furniture, platforms like Haraj are where many customers already look. Consistency across these listings supports prominence.
We build the website side: service pages in Arabic and English, matching business details on every page, WhatsApp and call buttons, and a site that loads fast on a phone. We do not create or manage Google Business Profiles for you; the profile stays in your hands. We will tell you exactly which details to use so the profile and the site match.
Our Saudi prices are on the Saudi Arabia page: from SAR 1,149 one-time, with the first year of hosting, SSL, backups and the domain included, and most sites live within a day of receiving your content. If you are a cleaning company or a mover, see our cleaning company website page or movers website page for what is included.
Yes, a profile alone can appear. But a website with matching details and service pages gives Google more reason to trust and show you, and gives customers somewhere to check you out before calling.
Yes. Google supports service-area businesses: you hide your address and list the areas you serve instead.
Verification can take from minutes to a couple of weeks depending on the method. Ranking after that depends on relevance, distance and prominence, so complete information and steady reviews matter.
If you offer one main service, link to that service page. If you offer several, the home page is fine as long as it links clearly to each service.
